(a lack of candor and a lack of maintenance aka "putting lipstick on a pig)
There's much to see here. Take your time, look around, and learn about how a very famous real estate agent with a radio show, and his client (the Seller) attempted to deceive a good-faith Buyer starting with the roof, and flowing down from there (including into the walls).
This roof is unable to sustain weight nor seal out water (more photos on other pages)
Wires that terminate inside the main breaker box, and pushed through yet another open hole on roof.
Water Damage is found throughout the entire home (excepting two rooms).
We work in Aviation and Public Safety Training, recently moved to Las Vegas and were so very excited about finding a home in the southern part of the Vegas area.
All in all, we made four (4) offers on the home, trying to find what would appease the sellers. Turns out "nothing," would appease them, as they expected patsies that would buy the house "AS-IS." What moron buys a home, especially a 50 year old home, AS-IS?
The above photo is but one small example of the condition of the 20 year-old roof. The solar company refused to put solar on the back side of the roof due to its poor condition. Yet in the SRPD, where the Seller discloses problems, they signed off everything as "good."
The water system not only failed water certification on inspection, it also has leaked its way throughout the home, leaving water damage on the inside and outside of the house. Yet in the SRPD, where the Seller discloses problems, they signed off everything as "good."
Mildew, water stains, and mold growing between the glass blocks in the shower...paint that has bubbled throughout the house due to water damage, poor tiling work, and at least 163 other costly repairs due to lack of maintenance. Yet in the SRPD, where the Seller discloses problems, they signed off everything as "good." Does this shower look good to you?
Aside from the real estate agents being grossly derelict in their duty and responsibility, we experienced the homeowner threatening us to "get off his property immediately or there would be an incident."
When people are caught hiding something, they grow angry and threatening.
A Real Estate Radio Personality that played a significant role (in our opinion) in his clients trying to cover health and safety issues in a home he'd listed. His client's SRPD indicated a quality home. Wow, were we caught by surprise after our inspector wrote nearly 200 pages of negative report, with four major health/safety issues. Did Mr. Taylor ever VISIT the home he was selling to ensure his client was being candid?
The Real Estate Broker for whom Aaron Taylor sells through. Ms. Kelley did not take action to protect her brokerage when her Seller was caught misrepresenting the property.
Ms. Kelley is a long-time leader in GVLAR, and we're stunned to learn she wouldn't/couldn't step in to prevent or divert this sales disaster.
Seller of the property listed in this website. He also works in the Real Estate industry, as does his partner. Signatory to the SRPD that was fraud-filled, and misrepresented the so-called "IMMACULATE, STUNNING, WELL-MAINTAINED" property that was anything but well-maintained.
